Under https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/pricing/details/active-directory/ it reads that 1 user costs 7,60 euro per month based on the Azure Premium P2 license. We have a total of 131 active Azure AD users at the moment.

Under my billing invoices for my company, it also says that 1 amount is billed for the Azure Premium P2 license itself for 7,60 euro, it does not say anything about the amount of user accounts.

Does this mean that increasing the amount of user accounts will not affect the price for the license or the accounts in this way, or any other way?

    HI ,

The cost when Azure AD user logs on to AVD will depend on the Compute of the AVD that is being used and the plan , like Pay as you go or if it is covered in reserved Instances (RI for compute) For users to log on , proper licensing is required which will have separate cost as discussed above

    HI ,

Azure Ad comes up with Free , P1 and P2 licenses which has features associated with it and costs that are shown in the pricing portal. Increasing the number of users will not alter the cost of the Licenses until those licenses are assigned to those users.

Hello, I have a follow up question, if an Azure AD user logs into for instance, Azure Virtual Desktop, we will have to pay for that usage. Will it cost more if the user is logged into AVD for instance 8 hours, or 24 hours? Or is the cost of usage the same, the moment you use a resource like AVD, or any other resource?
