How can an employee have permission to modify files on sharepoint even if there is no actual permission for her.

On our Sharepoint site we have permissions for specific users. In one example one person has permission to modify and see files even though she is no member of the groups with permission. Heredity from parent folders is not activated.

How can I remove her permission, if I do not see her as actual permitted person for this specific folder?

Thank you

Best

Michael

    Hi @Roessle Michael

You could manage the unique permission by selecting the files or folder > Manage Access > Advanced

    User's image

Then you could add or remove permission for specific user by "Grant permission" or "Remove user permission"

    User's image

You could also click "Check permission" to confirm which permission the specific user has
