The latest Windows 11 Supported CPU list for AMD seems to be missing most of the Threadripper and Threadripper Pro CPUs which were listed on the original support list. This was a list dated 10/27/2021.
AMD | Ryzen Threadripper | 2920X |
---|---|---|
AMD | Ryzen Threadripper | 2950X |
AMD | Ryzen Threadripper | 2970WX |
AMD | Ryzen Threadripper | 2990WX |
AMD | Ryzen Threadripper | 3960X |
AMD | Ryzen Threadripper | 3970X |
AMD | Ryzen Threadripper | 3990X |
AMD | Ryzen Threadripper PRO | 3945WX |
AMD | Ryzen Threadripper PRO | 3955WX |
AMD | Ryzen Threadripper PRO | 3975WX |
AMD | Ryzen Threadripper PRO | 3995WX |
The Current AMD Threadripper list has only these models...
AMD | Ryzen™ Threadripper™ PRO | 5945WX |
---|---|---|
AMD | Ryzen™ Threadripper™ PRO | 5955WX |
AMD | Ryzen™ Threadripper™ PRO | 5965WX |
AMD | Ryzen™ Threadripper™ PRO | 5975WX |
AMD | Ryzen™ Threadripper™ PRO | 5995WX |
Did Microsoft omit these previous "Officially Supported" AMD CPUs or did something actually change making them unsupported?
