Hi,

We have recently done SharePoint 2019 Farm Setup. We noticed that SharePoint 2019 MySite NewsFeed "Everyone" is not working and the newsfeed comments box disappeared.

Is this feature deprecated in SharePoint 2019?

Kindly suggest is there any settings need to enable to make the feature available

Is this resolved? We have the same issue in SharePoint server subscription. Is there a way to get the newsfeed to be editable?

Please check for the deprecated features

    Aggregated Newsfeed

The aggregated newsfeed feature (available at newsfeed.aspx and typically accessed via the Newsfeed tile on the app launcher), will be set to read-only in SharePoint Server 2019. Both the tile in the app launcher and the option to implement the newsfeed capability will also be removed from this version forward. For customers who are currently using the aggregated newsfeed, we recommend considering options such as Team News, Communication Sites, Viva Engage and/or Teams. The Site Feed feature on an individual site is not impacted and will continue to be supported across all versions of the product.

usually you receive the error on event viewer . Event ID: 6398 Event Description: The Execute method of job definition Microsoft.Office.Server.UserProfiles.FeedCacheRepopulationJob

Unexpected exception in FeedCacheService.IsRepopulationNeeded: Connection to the server terminated, check if the cache host(s) is running

and the proper process is to fix the distributed cache to avoid the error on event viewer, but the feature is deprecated and works as read-only since SP 2019
