Hi everyone,

I just installed my windows key considering I bought a PC and it had a fake key. My new key is OK but I'm seeing in regedit that the 'KeyManagementServiceName' value is 'kms.digiboy.ir'. How to can I delete or change this?

Is My PC safe? I have scanned with Windows defender and Malwarebytes, and the result was 0 viruses.

My SO is Windows 11 Pro.

    Hello,

This value is only applied for KMS activation settings (for volume activation services) but would not affect unless a KMS client key is configured in the computer. You can safely remove this information when using an individual product key, by saving the next text is a .REG file (for example "removeKMS.reg") and running the command line: regedit /s removeKMS.reg

    Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\SoftwareProtectionPlatform]

    “KeyManagementServiceName”=-

    “KeyManagementServicePort”=-
