Telemetry link in Azure alert email does not work

We have Azure monitor setup to send us emails when there are exceptions in some of our services using Application Insights. It is noted that the telemetry link in these email alerts that takes us to Application Insights are not working. On clicking the link we could observe that the app insights transaction search window is loading forever with 3 dots on screen. This does not occur when we manually key in the filters and run. On clicking refresh at top, the screen loads almost instantly.
What could be the issue here ?
