My data flow window is empty even though the code is still there

Hello everyone!

I was working on my data flow yesterday and it was all going well. When I reopened my browser this morning, I noticed that my data flow window is completely empty. It's all blank, not even the parameters show up or the option in an empty data flow to add a new source. However, if I check the JSON code representation or the data flow script representation, everything is there. Just the visual part is completely blank.

I got other data flows that are completely normal but the one I was working yesterday has this unique problem.

Did anyone got the same issue? How do you fix it? User's image

Welcome to Microsoft Q&A forum and thanks for posting your query.

The issues seem strange. Have you published the changes you made to that particular dataflow?

Since you have mentioned that when you click on the JSON code or Dataflow script you were able to see everything except the visual of the transformations in that data flow. This makes me think that your graph nodes might have been hidden or moved upwards or downwards unintentionally/unknowingly.

I would recommend trying below and see if you are able to see you graph nodes back.

Please try to click on Zoom to fit button as shown below:

Or you can right click your mouse by placing it in center/graph pane and then select Zoom to fit and see if you are able to see the transformations flow back.

If the above doesn't work, then please try clearing browsers cache, restarting browser and see if the issue resolves.

Thank you for your answer @KranthiPakala-MSFT ! Sadly, it is not a problem of being hidden or with the wrong zoom in the window. As you can see in the screenshot above, not even the window below (with parameters and settings) exists at all. Clearing cache did not help either. It was after I closed the browser and when I opened the window again, which is very weird. I also tried with different users in the project, different browsers, nothing changes. Since I have the code, I would like to maybe replicate the code in a new data flow and create the activities that were there before but I don't know if it is possible to import a data flow like this.

As this issue is still persist and weird, I would recommend filing a support for deeper investigation. Please share the SR# once it is filed. In case if you don't have a support plan, please let me know.
