How to configure SharePoint 2019 with SSL to display SSRS report

I've got a SharePoint 2019 Server with the SSRS report viewer deployed. When the SP site is not secure, i.e., not using SSL, the report viewer works just fine. But when I enable SSL for the site, the report viewer stops working, and only shows a blank web part. Is there something I need to change in either SSRS or SharePoint?

The SSRS version is 2012, but I intend to move the reports to 2019 until I can migrate them into PowerBI.

SSL configuration doesn't have impact on SSRS viewer web part as per my experience. If you delete the web part and re-add a new one to the page, would this issue persist?

I went a bit further and created a new web part page with the page viewer web part. For the URL, I used the one for the SSRS report in question. I clicked on the test link option; it came up in a new tab with no errors. I then saved the page, but the web part is completely blank.

Is there any related exception in your ULS logs? When loading the page, could you see any bad status or error using F12 tool?

Thanks for the F12 reminder. There's an "insecure frame" message on the SSRS report web part. Turns out I need to enable SSL on SSRS for it to work.

I've gotten farther along with the SSRS reports, but now I've hit the dreaded IFRAME error:
"The current browser does not support Web pages that contain the IFRAME element., etc."

Tried various ways around this, but nothing works. As this SharePoint site is within an intranet, I would have no problem turning off the IFRAME limitation, but setting the X-FRAME-OPTIONS flag in IIS doesn't make any difference.

Ideas?

I added the "Content-Security-Policy" response header to the site in IIS, with the value of "frame-src https://<host:port name here>". But in the Edge browser, the dev console still shows an error, "Refused to display '<SSRS page URL>' in a frame because it set 'X-Frame-Options' to 'sameorigin'".

Inspecting the source code for the web part page shows no X-Frame-Options anywhere.
