Hi,

My IT service provider did not inform us and took azure domain subscription last year from a distributor vendor although we wanted to do billing by our own direct to Microsoft . Now we are willing to manage by our own as we don't need IT Support from our vendor but that distributor is saying we must find a reseller to continue our subscription.

Is it possible if I create a new ac with our own billing then create a new subscription and move Azure domain services and azure active directory and azure file share to that subscription or I need to start everything from scratch. How many days it will take to do everything again and will there be a downtime for our business ? can I get support from Microsoft on this? looking for urgent help on this.

Thanks

    Hello

Thank you for your question and reaching out. I can understand you are having query\issues related to Azure AD transfer.

Transferring an Azure subscription to a different Azure AD directory is a complex process that must be carefully planned and executed. Many Azure services require security principals (identities) to operate normally or even manage other Azure resources.

I would suggest to Consult to Azure support or your Azure account manager before switch of a subscription.
