Azure postgres sql timescale db extension upgrade / maintenance schedule

Hello,

I was exploring the capabilities of Azure Database for PostgreSQL - Flexible Server for maintaining timeseries data. The max version of the timescaledb supported is 2.5.1. But some of the capabilities that we want to include are available in higher versions, 2.6.0 for example.

I am trying to understand the maintenance schedule for these instances to see when higher versions of this extension are available for upgrade or the possibility of creating an instance with the required extension version but havent come across any documentation. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
