As per Azure IOT Hub security documentation it is mentioned that "IoT Hub supports data encryption in transit with TLS v1.2 or greater"

https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/security/benchmark/azure/baselines/iot-hub-security-baseline#dp-4-encrypt-sensitive-information-in-transit

But when we try to create IOT Hub there is no option for TLS 1.3 available. Please confirm by when will IOT Hub support TLS 1.3 encryption.IOT Hub.png

I think there's a mistake in the docs there. IoT Hub supports 1.0, 1.1 and 1.2 (with 1.0 and 1.1 getting deprecated soon). It's documented well on this page

I'll add an issue for the documentation, it can be a bit confusing this way.

Siddharth Joshi Thank you for raising this query.

Please confirm by when will IOT Hub support TLS 1.3 encryption

Currently, this is in our road map and our team is actively working on supporting the TLS 1.3 in IoT Hub.

There is no Exact ETA, mostly it will be released after General availability: IoT Hub Service Upgrade

Regarding the doc update, Matthijs created an issue and it will be addressed as earliest.

Thanks for your time and patience. Hope this helps.

Do let us know if you have any further queries or blocked due to the support of TLS 1.3 version we will share the feedback with internal teams to prioritize this ask.
