How do you enable SkypeSpaces to add connectors in Teams?
Hi,
We are attempting to add some approved connectors (Incoming Webhooks app) into Microsoft Teams however it seems like whatever we try, we continue to run in to this issue.
[
My manager and I have been troubleshooting this and making sure all of our checks are in place. In the admin portal of Teams, we are allowing all microsoft apps but only specific third-party apps. Since incoming webhooks is a Microsoft app I figured this would be okay.
[
In the "Manage Apps" I made sure that this app was allowed.
[
I also made a custom app permission policy and assigned myself to it that allows using all apps, microsoft, third-party, or custom just to see if that helped, but it still says SkypeSpaces is disabled. We then went in to the EWS console and added SkypeSpaces to the EwsAllowList in our organization config's application access policy. It was something like this, Set-OrganizationConfig -EwsApplicationAccessPolicy EnforceAllowList -EwsAllowList "SkypeSpaces/*", don't quote me on the syntax, we did get it to work, and we were able to see it listed in our "EwsAllowList" and we made sure to use the allow list. I have searched what I feel like is everywhere regarding this error and nothing that I have found fixed this issue for us. Please advise!

2023-07-25T07:46:40.2066667+00:00 @Matt Chapman - We are able to configure incoming webhooks properly. Could you please let us know if you are still facing this issue? Are you using a GCC account? We see that you have not added the incoming webhook to the allowed list of third party apps. Could you please add it and try once again?

2023-07-25T12:37:46.12+00:00 Hi Meghana,
I went ahead and allowed Incoming Webhook as the picture shows, however when it's time to configure it on the Teams App itself is when the "Something went wrong." error happens. I right click the channel I want this connector on, I click Connectors, it briefly loads and I see the Incoming Webhooks connector, and then it errors out with the same error I posted above. It's like at a higher level it's letting me in and then some type of other rule blocks me after the fact. It's really odd that it loads in for a second. I have attached a screenshot to show what it looks like right before it errors out.

2023-07-27T06:09:59.1833333+00:00 @Matt Chapman - Engineering team has looked into network trace and has mentioned that the connector is not enabled.
Can you please share the current list of apps that you have allowed? It should be something like this, among other apps, incoming webhook should be part of it.

2023-07-27T06:14:25+00:00 You said you have created a custom app permission policy by allowing all third party apps. Please note that App permission policies take effect only when you apply a policy to a user or a group of users. After you edit or assign a policy, it can take a few hours for changes to take effect.

2023-07-27T12:34:02.2266667+00:00 I did originally create a custom policy but since that wasn't working I've been doing everything in the Global policy. Here is what my app permissions look like in the Global policy.

2023-11-14T20:22:00.1433333+00:00 Hello,
I can confirm that ConnectorsEnabled is set for our Teams group, I cannot find information about ConnectorsEnabledForTeams, would you be able to provide me the syntax to see this setting?

2023-11-20T19:13:12.0633333+00:00 When I'm logged in to exchange management shell I'm unable to find anything that has to do with ConnectorsEnabledForTeams, but ConnectorsEnabled is set to true. When I use the Set-OrganizationConfig -ConnectorsEnabledForTeams:$true command I just get an invalid argument error so I'm not sure that exists in our environment.

2023-12-21T17:47:19.37+00:00 Matt,
Make sure that you are making a connection to
Connect-ExchangeOnline -UserPrincipalName <user@contoso.onmicrosoft.com>
This will get you to where you can run the required commandlet. This is as far as I have gotten. I still get the error that you pictured above.

2024-02-05T11:02:01.37+00:00 Could you please share the tenant id? Engineering team has said because of that PowerShell setting the webhook is not allowed.
