I am facing this issue while sign in with SAML 2.0 using Power Apps portal.

Application with identifier 'https://selfservice361wrg.powerappsportals.com/' was not found in the directory 'MSFT'. This can happen if the application has not been installed by the administrator of the tenant or consented to by

As of 10-09-2024 we receive this error AADSTS700016 for EVERY tenant when trying to use connect-pnponline

The complete error message (after logging in) is:

AADSTS700016: Application with identifier '31359c7f-bd7e-475c-86db-fdb8c937548e' was not found in the directory 'Contoso'. This can happen if the application has not been installed by the administrator of the tenant or consented to by any user in the tenant. You may have sent your authentication request to the wrong tenant.

Where 31359c7f-bd7e-475c-86db-fdb8c937548e is the application ID of the (already) registered 'PnP Management Shell' application

I can not find any working solution(s).

    Hi @Swapnil Nirhali ,

AADSTS700016 is an error code that indicates that the application you are trying to sign in to is not registered in Azure AD. To fix this issue, you need to register the application in Azure AD.

Here are the steps to register an application in Azure AD:

    1. Open the Azure portal and sign in as a global administrator or co-admin.
    2. Select All services at the top of the navigation pane on the left side to open the Azure AD extension.
    3. Type Azure Active Directory in the filter search box, and then select Azure Active Directory.
    4. Select App registrations in the Azure AD navigation pane.
    5. Select New registration to register a new application.
    6. Enter a name for the application and select the supported account types.
    7. Select Register to create the application.

I would also suggest looking at this thread's solution in case it applies to your case. Please let me know if you have any questions and I can help you further.
