SSRS report - table sorting

Question

I have a table in a report. It is grouped by the first column. If I set table order to one of the columns the order is not working. It only works if I set sorting on the detail group. The second thing is I am additng an iteractive sort to one of the columns. The interactive sort is not working either. Why wouldn't it work?

What do you mean by "order doesn't work"? Does it mean that the data has not changed at all?

I did a simple test and made a report to group by the first column. I sort number in the Tablix data area and in the details group separately and they show the same result, both sort "Number" within the group.

I also tried adding interactive sort and it works fine too. Are there any problems with your operation?
