Understanding functionality of linked mailbox

Hello Team,

Hope you are doing great!

Senario
User name David Active in ForestA.com domain and also active in forestB.com
David linked mailbox exist in forstA.com domain but it linked with forestB.com domain.
IF we disabled david maibox in forestA.com domain, What will be the change or impact on forestA.com domain with respective AD object.

Ad Server windows server 2012 R2

Exchange Server 2013

Hi,

Do you have to do anything else after disabling David's mailbox? If you just disable the mailbox, there will be no effect on the respective AD.
