My sharepoint site won't show my user profile on the top right?

Currently dealing with this error accessing my sharepoint site. Initially the site wouldn't let me access it due to authentication so I changed it from NTLM to Kerberos back to NTLM again to reset it. Then I restarted my server and application pools along with an IIS reset thru powershell. Now the site lets me in but wont show the profile so I can edit the site as the owner.

2023-02-06T13:36:08.69+00:00 I'm using SharePoint Server 2019 and it appears that the User Profile Service is running. I'm unsure about configuring MySite host?

The name in upper right corner comes the “Name” in User Information list (http://siteurl/_layouts/15/people.aspx?MembershipGroupId=0). And the “Name” in the User Information list comes from the “Name” in the User Profiles.
Go to User Profile service > Manage user profiles and verify if you can search your user profiles successfully there. If not, start full profile synchronization to sync values from Active Directory to user profiles. Then, run the following timer job to synchronize the User Profile user Data with user Information List.

- User Profile to SharePoint Quick Synchronization

2023-02-07T13:42:01.5733333+00:00 Please delete the last comment and I verified that the accounts name was searchable under manage user profiles and ran both timer jobs but while one site is now showing my user profile name the other still shows only the gear symbol and question mark in the top right.

2023-05-08T14:45:04.28+00:00 The user account information appeared there and also was found in Manage User Profiles. This is confusing since when I access my communications site my approval links will pull up a different profile which in turns gives me a notification of not having proper permissions to approve a delegated task.
