I cannot connect my VM from my telco provider, #2 fiber operator in France. This is only working from time to time from this operator network.

On any other provider, (5G or other fiber provider) connection is ok !

do we have kind of filtering from Azure (EDR or other) on some Internet provider ?
is this due to free-telecom network ?

I did tracert and connectivity seem ok (up to azure enpoint ae102-0.icr02.dub08.ntwk.msn.net)

regards,
Gautier (microsoftees)

I can confirm this is indeed an ISV problem from Free-Telecom (www.free.fr ILIAD group) .
My friend has no FW and have the same problem.
ICMP connectivity is ok but standard 3389 port is blocked by free gateway.

I did solved this problem changing RPP port on the VM.... I can also say that Bastion is a solution for accessing your VM from Free-Telecom on azure, but more expensive.

    Hello @Gautier thibout (personal)

I think it's most likely an ISP-Issue instead of Azure. They might filter your traffic. Have you already created a ticket at their side and asked, if something is blocking RDP?
Also, does your friend have the same router at home? If so, this might be a source of the issue too. Feel free to provide some details about the model and let's check if there might be a setting.

If this does answer your question, please feel free to mark it as the answer as a token of appreciation.
