Remove from Default App option/or disable IE using GPO?

Hi,

Can we remove IE from Default App option in WIN10 /or somehow disable using GPO?

    Thank you for posting here. I am sorry for the late reply.

    Do you want to remove IE from Default App option in WIN10 as below (Settings\Default apps\Web Browser\Internet Explorer)?

    If so, we can click the Web Browser\Internet Explorer and choose another app as below.

    Thank you so much for your reply.

    Based on my knowledge and my discussion with my colleague, there is no GPO setting for removing or disabling IE from Default App option.

    The screenshot above is we switch a browser instead of removing or disabling IE.

    We can remove IE option from Default App option manually on machine one by one, that is we uncheck the option "Internet Explorer 11" on "turn Windows features on or off".

    Then the machine will restart, and we can check we will not see IE from Default App option.
