what this means, Windows Backup,FVE file under SVI Folder?

Question

OS Install with Surface Recovery Image.

Recent changes.

1. Windows Backup folder created
2. four FVE2.GUID Added

why created folder Windows Backup?

i think FVE file is related with Bitlocker.

the FVE file has only one before. what this mean added different FVE file with different GUID?

Thank you for your question and reaching out. I can understand you are having query\issues related to Bitlocker FVE files.

BitLocker provides full volume encryption (FVE) for operating system volumes, and fixed and removable data drives. To support fully encrypted operating system drives, BitLocker uses an unencrypted system partition for the files required to boot, decrypt, and load the operating system. This volume is automatically created during a new installation of both client and server operating systems.

Hence you will find difference FVE files for different volumes , which is normal.
