Hyper v detected by memu even though it’s disabled

Hey all. Trying to use an emulator to play android games and it keeps saying that hyper v is detected. I’ve tried to turn off hyper v every way that is shown on the internet even going into bios where it says it is disabled already. I don’t know what else to do

I am having the same issue, windows 10 or windows 11 it does not matter. I have run that command and rebooted multiple times.

Nope. Doesn't work. Gives an error message...

A Windows feature name was not recognized.

Use the /Get-Features option to find the name of the feature in the image and try the command again.

That guy telling bull shit on windows 10 is command doesn't work .... Also memu emulator was working fine and suddently it give a mesage that it need to repair hyper-V and reboot ... But even after reboot it still say same mesage.. I also noticed a malware prigram rav endpoint that just apear on my start menu it cannot be deleted using c-mos or normal control panel

you can undo that fcking malware through in system restore. never download that fcking memu emulator.

this is what I found out from Micky Soft. I use memu all the time.

upgrade to the lates 9x version. the previous versions look for hyper-v and will fail

after hours and hours of fighting with it I called Micky soft and finally got to an engineer that could tell me what was happening.

with virtualization enabled in the bios the OS will always enable some sort of virtualization at the OS level even if you disable it (why I love linux)

the older version of memu do not play nice with hyper-v and will error out.

if you need an older verion of memu you have to disable virtualization at the bios. this issue is then with memu because it will not use more that one core for you emulation.

very frustrating since I use GNbots for my farms in one of games I play. they like the older version of Memu because of the screen location output so some of the daily tasks do not work for me. I went with memu 9.1.6.0

Here's an updated command in Powershell (note that there are spaces before each "/") and make sure to run Powershell as administrator.

dism.exe /online /disable-feature /featurename:Microsoft-Hyper-V

However, do note that this is no longer an issue of Hyper-V feature rather an issue with Windows Security Systeam feature called "Memory Integrity, which needs to be disabled if you want to keep using Memu.

You may find and disable this feature by going to Windows Security in your system tray (or Settings > Privacy & security > Device Security) then click "Core isolation details" under the Core isolation feature. From here you may disable Memory integrity. It requires system reboot.

This happens when your VM doesn't have Nested Virtualization supported .
