Default ‘Allow all the time’ for an app - android Intune

Hello,

I’m trying to set an app to default to ‘Allow all the time’ access to location services on an android fully managed device using Intune.

I’ve created an App config policy and set permissions to auto grant but this seems to have just defaulted the app to using ‘Allow only whilst using the app’ which is no good for my purposes.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

    @Joe Coombes, Thanks for posting in Q&A. From your description, I know you have deployed an app configuration policy to Android Fully managed device. But it is not working. If there's any misunderstanding, please let us know.

    Based as I know, for app configuration policy to managed devices, the app must be deployed through Managed Google play store app. Could you confirm if the app configuration we set is for managed device?

    Meanwhile, to check on our issue, please provide the following information:

    1. Which app we are configured the setting?
    2. Was the app configuration policy applied to the device successfully under "device install status"?
    3. Please get a screen shot of the app configuration policy setting we set.
