I'm afraid the answer doesn't help me at all. if you are creating a "website" type sharepoint site, the ability to copy and paste sections from one page to another would be massively helpful. I realise you can copy a page and then edit it so you can draft your new page with the required content. However, once pages are actually created you aren't in the position to do "borrow" a useful section from another page on the site. I hope microsoft will take on board this update as it would be a brilliant and useful addition to sharepoint.

I want to move a webpart on sharepoint to a new page on the same site. Is there any way to do this.

2023-02-07T07:13:19.6666667+00:00 There is no option to move a web part from one page to another page in the SharePoint online. You only could move and duplicate a web part in the same page.
As a workaround, on the top bar click the plus + next to "New" then select "copy of this page" allows you to make a complete copy.
