How to set up requiring credentials to be entered each time a share is accessed

In a workgroup environment, there is a shared file server. The PC（Windows 10） uses the administrator account of the file server to access the shared file server. After accessing the share and entering the credentials, I did not save the credentials and opened the share normally.

After closing File Explorer, you don't need to enter credentials to access it when you try to access it again.

Re-entering credentials after logout. Is it possible not to save the cache, and to enter the account password every time you access share

Thank you for your question and reaching out. I can understand you are having query\issues related to Shared folder access.

You can enable the following policy:

1 Open “gpedit.msc”.

2 Go to: Local Computer Policy > Computer Configuration> Windows Settings > Security Settings > Local Policies > Security Options.

3 Find the policy: Network access: Do not allow storage of passwords and credentials for network authentication.

4 Choose the Local Security Settings to “Enable”

May be it not possible same issue i have found but trying to many time to resolve this but not happen
