Teams stuck on ‘loading’ screen and force quitting doesn’t help

When I go to open Microsoft Teams on my laptop it gets stuck on the loading page. I have tried quitting (clicking on the icon in the bar at the bottom and quitting) and also ending via Task Manager. But when I try to open Teams again the same thing happens. It’s working fine on my ipad. Just not on the lap top (which I have recently upgraded to Windows 11). I’m not sure what else I should be trying. (Have restarted a couple of times too just in case turning it off and on again was enough!)

    Hi @Sara B

Do you have the same problem in Teams web client?

If there is no issue in Teams web client, we recommend you try to clear the client cache file and restart the Teams client to see if it can be worked.

    1. If Teams is still running, right-click the Teams icon in the taskbar, and then select Quit.
    2. Open the Run dialog box by pressing the Windows logo key +R.
    3. In the Run dialog box, enter %appdata%\Microsoft\Teams, and then select OK.
    4. Delete all files and folders in the %appdata%\Microsoft\Teams directory.
    5. Restart Teams.
