How to manually sync a Windows 11 device with Intune

Hi There,

I have bulk enrolled a bunch of corporate windows 11 machines into Intune using a remote script. This has enrolled the machines successfully and I can see them in the endpoint manager.

However, they will not accept policies, which remain 'pending', as the user did not enter their MFA when authenticating with Intune. This must be entered for it to work properly.

However, in Windows 11 there is no manual sync button to force a sync int he settings app - so how do I do it..?

(in windows 10 this is easy - there is a sync button)

Thanks for any help you can give!

Tony.

    Hi Tony

Normally in Windows 11 there is also a sync button to manually force a sync.

Below the steps to perform this:

    1. Open the 'Settings'-app.
    2. Go to 'Accounts'.
    3. Choose 'Access work or school'.
    4. Click on your domain name and click on 'Info'.User's image
    5. Go all the way down and click on 'Sync'. User's image

Is this what you were looking for?

    Kind regards

    Sam

    Hi Tony,

You can check out this blog post which explains different ways in which you can force Intune Sync / Initiate Device Check-in Process manually either from the End user device or from Microsoft Endpoint manager admin center.
