SCCM AD discovery attribute changes with no DNS records

Hi, is there a way to have existing sccm client get their AD attributes updated in sccm DB using system discovery when the device no longer has a DNS record?

We have a process that sometimes changes some AD attributes on devices, but if the device is not being used on our network, it losses it's DNS record, so sccm, as I understand, will not update the AD attribute when there's no DNS records

thks in advance and don't hesitate if you have any questions

    Hi, @Stéphane Lalancette

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Q&A forum.

Like you said, if the device is not being used on your network, it losses it's DNS record, so I'm afraid sccm will not update the AD attribute.
