SCCM task sequence applications fail with error code 50

I am going to use VLC as an example, but there are about 50% of the applications in the task sequence with the same error and they are not installed in the final result. I have tried deleting all the applications and adding them back again. Each application has its own task, before I had multiple in one task with the same result.

The application installs without issue via Software Center outside of OSD. Is there another log that may provide more insight?

The task sequence execution engine failed executing the action (Install VLC) in the group (Setup Operating System) with the error code 50

Action output: . The operating system reported error 50: The request is not supported.

    Is there another log that may provide more insight?

    1, Have you checked the SMSTS.log? Please upload it for our reference. Besides, please upload a task sequence for our reference.

    2, Have you added any restart step in the task sequence? If so, please do not forget select “The currently installed default operating system”.  The screenshot for your reference:
