I want to change the default browser to a site that I have created in a sharepoint site.

I have created a Sharepoint site and have inserted links to external web based programs. By default the all open in Chrome and two of the programs do not work in Chrome. How can I change this so they open in the appropriate program.

    You can't do this from SharePoint. You can configure Chrome's legacy browser support; see https://support.google.com/chrome/a/answer/9270076?hl=en.

    If you don't control the client machines, then there is nothing you can do.

    The default browser is controlled by your operating system and not SharePoint.
