why does the settings window freeze when i try to select "for developers" in the settings menu or when i try to access any developer settings in the search? but all other windows open run fine.

just got a brand new desktop for GCP and web app development. now when i try to enable developer options the active window i make the selection freezes whether it be in settings or through the search feature

    Try run Windows Update and download and install all updates and restart your PC.
    In case problem persist, open start and search for feedback and open Feedback Hub app and report this issue.
