Implementing Azure services on Wifi Network

Hi, I am currently doing a Study project on "Enhancing Wi-Fi Security Using Azure Cloud Solutions". What I want to ask is the following. I have a scenario where I am using my home internet router as an example. I simulated an environment on virtual box where let's say an X organization is using OpenWRT as router to connect to the internet and internally. Now I want to implement Azure Security services to this network or environment. First I thought of Implementing a S2S VPN from local to Microsoft Azure Cloud and then Implement Azure Security Center, so as to help in monitoring the network and mitigate security threats that could surface. This is my scenario. I wanted to have your point of view of what could be done eventually, and if I'm in the right path.
