Azure Table size

Hello,

My role is non-technical. Recently a dataset was migrated into Azure and I noticed that the table size increased 10x (7GB to 70GB). The DB team mentioned that the data is stored in CSV format and that is the reason for increase in the size.

Is there any way to compress the data or reduce the size?

Can you please share more information about which Database in Azure you are migrated?
