Can you provide us the template you're using? We have no way of seeing whatever formulas are being used.
Class Roster Template not functioning correctly- vlookup is pulling wrong information.

I am working with the Excel Template "Class Roster". This is a preset template provided. When I enter the student list it will pull over into the classes tab provided perfectly for the first 3 students then it will pull random data for any remaining students. Is this an error with the template formulas? I am not adjusting or changing any formulas, only entering information into the table.

2023-02-08T19:48:52.1333333+00:00 This a screen shot of the template I am trying to use. The information entered in the tab Student List should pull up for each student listed on the class roster tab when their name is selected but it is not. I am only ever able to get the first 3 or 4 names to pull over correctly then it will be random information.

2023-02-08T20:29:23.9433333+00:00 Can you share the actual template file so we can look at how it is set up? If not then we'll need to see what the student list sheet looks like. We'll also need to see the formula being used to populate the other sheet. Most likely the student list sheet is going beyond what the formula range was set up for. But we're just guessing at this point.

Based on my tests, the vlookup formula to find the email address is corret.
First, on Class Roster sheet, please make sure the student name is selected correctly from the drop down list.
Then select one cell that include vlookup formula to find email address, put the cursor on the lower-right corner of the cell, there will be a symbol of the black cross, click the mouse and drop down. The formula will apply to new created students.

2023-02-16T21:24:57.0966667+00:00 I am able to get it to pull over the correct information for the first 3 or 4 students listed in the sheet labeled "student list". When I select other names in the drop down- the information that is auto filled is not correct.

It's better to show us more details. To help the privacy information, you may cover part of the information. We need the problematic information both on Student List and Class Roster.
Besides, please note, when you add other students' information, you need to press tab in the last cell of the previous table.
For example, if you need to add the 5th student, select the cell with red box in following image, press Tab, and then so on.
