I'm trying to sync the documents from more than one Team through the OneDrive organisation sync in File Explorer. I have opened the Team, gone as far back in the folder structure as possible (to Documents) and selected Sync, which has linked this particular Team to my organisation share in File Explorer.
However, now when I want to do the same with another Team, I am receiving the error 'Sorry, we can't sync this folder. You're already syncing a shortcut to a folder from this shared library.

My objective is to have access via File Explorer to files across multiple Teams - my steps above may have been going about that in the wrong way, there is a glitch, or a sheer limitation of Sharepoint / Teams sync.

You should go to your modern OneDrive site to delete the folder shortcut.

Go to the SharePoint document library -> Click App launcher in the upper left corner -> OneDrive -> My Files -> Delete the folder shortcut.

After you delete the folder shortcut, then sync document library in the file explorer.

Hi. Thank you for your question and reaching out. I’d be more than happy to help you with your query

To sync multiple Teams in File Explorer, you will need to use the Teams Client. With the Teams Client, you can access the files in multiple Teams simultaneously, and the changes you make in one Team will be reflected in the other Teams. To get started, open the Teams Client, go to the Files tab, and click the Sync button to sync the files from each Team. Once the files have been synced, they will show up in File Explorer, and you can quickly access them from there.
