Turns out if you select a resource it will force you to upgrade your support before lodging a ticket.....still cant purchase support but at least a work around to submit has been found

Unable to contact support or lodge a ticket just get a message "error has occured".
Tried calling microsoft by phone but was directed to forum as there is apparently no other method to lodge a ticket available.
Please dont send me "how to" lodge a ticket instructions....this has been done to death already. I cant proceed past step 3 after providing details of the problem.
I have tried different browsers and privacy modes.
