Windows 10 Pro in workgroup 21H2

When log in using Azure connected to office domain, the Edge opens up with wrong user. We have an outlook.com account and use that for Edge and all its favorites etc

How can we set the outlook.com user to be the default login for edge

According to your description, you have 2 accounts connected: work account and outlook account.

If you need the outlook account to connect to your Edge profile as default, usually you have 2 options (assuming you have 2 profiles connected to each account):

1. Remove the profile connected to your work account if you don't need it.
2. If you want to preserve the profile connected to your work account, you can manually specify the profile you want to set as default. Just do the following steps:

• Open your Edge with the outlook profile. Navigate to edge://version and find your profile path at Profile path. Let's say your profile path is C:\Users\Administrator\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Edge\User Data\Profile 1
• Right click on Microsoft Edge --> Properties --> Shortcut --> Target
• Make sure your Target looks like "C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft\Edge\Application\msedge.exe" --profile-directory="Profile 1".

Now, you should be able to use the outlook profile every time you launch Edge.
