Hi Team,

I have SQL Server 2016 and using VS 2017 to develop package. The new requirement is to extract data from SAP and load them into Azure blob storage.

I use Theobald Xtract IS for connecting the SAP system.

Since Azure related component involved, I have changed the target server version as 'SQL Server 2016' in the property page.

Now, I am able to use the Azure related components but facing issue while using the Theobald Xtract IS components.

Though I am able to successfully create the Connection for Xtract IS using below connection type

when I tried to access Xtract IS related componets in Data Flow Task, I am facing the below error,

Also I could not see the Xtract IS installed folder in my Program Files/Add or Remove programs option but still am able to set up the connection though there is a issue in using the component.

I have checked the Assembly folder 'C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\assembly\GAC_MSIL' and could see the below connection managers though Xtract IS software installed.

My issue is that why am not able to use the Xtract components though I able to successfully set up the connection.

Also, I tried to install the Xtract IS in the server and restarted the VS.

But still am not able to use the components and facing the below error while drag any Xtract related component into data flow.

Is this to any license related issue? Do I need to clear any folder to install it from scratch?

I am trying to fix this issue for more than last couple of days. Could anyone please help me to resolve this issue.

Highly Appreciate your help.

I use Theobald Xtract IS for connecting the SAP system.

That isn't a Microsoft product, so better contact the software vendor support.
