Hi all

I am trying to figure out how to integrate our Project Desktop with Azure Boards to be able to update relevant project tasks on Azure Board.

I've gone through this https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/devops/boards/backlogs/office/create-your-backlog-tasks-using-project?view=tfs-2018&tabs=office-365.

Followed the installation of VS2019 but then it doesn't advise what component of VS2019 to install, i am assuming its not all as its 10-20GB in size.

Advice is appreciated.

Hi @Leon Laude appreciate it, i think there needs to be bit more clarity within Microsoft as to where this should really sit as i was directed here by another Microsoft rep: https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/msoffice/forum/msoffice_project-mso_win10-mso_o365b/integration-of-ms-project-desktop-app-with-azure/62837638-42a4-4d3e-be9e-312667d1e156?messageId=d13b6993-b03a-489f-bd85-24b2263f5745

Bit frustrating that i can't even find out who to talk to about microsoft's own product

    Hi @Aeseir ,

Azure DevOps / Microsoft Project is currently not supported in the Q&A forums, the supported products are listed over here https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/answers/products (more to be added later on).

You can ask the experts in the dedicated forums over here:

    Azure DevOps
    https://developercommunity.visualstudio.com/spaces/21/index.html

    Microsoft Project
    https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/project/ct-p/Project

    Best regards,
