Why would Microsoft Device Management Device Cleanup Rule not show devices that have been stale longer than 120+?
Currently, we have from an Azure AD report a very high number of devices that have a log-in date over 120 days, but when setting the configuration of the device cleanup rule we do not get provided any details on devices to be deleted.
Is there a connection between Azure AD that should be preset prior to setting up a device cleanup rule?
There is no direct relation between the two. If the device hasn’t checked into Intune for long (120 days in your case) then it will qualify for a cleanup.
Thank you, Rahul, so then why would they provide an option to see devices affected by rule changes and then not provide the results?
When moving the date further 121 for example no devices show as an example to see what could be affected by the change.
