Question

Hi,

I have the v2 4K model and have it connected to a specific IoT SSID. Whenever I connect to it from a laptop (in my example a Surface Pro 6), it changes the SSID on my laptop to be the IoT SSID one.

I don't want this, since our IoT network is web-filtered so I can't access what I need to for presentations etc., and all IoT stuff has to be on the IoT network. Our policy allows no exceptions.

Reading the docs here https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-hardware/design/device-experiences/wireless-projection-understanding under the "Wireless Projection over an existing Wi-Fi network" heading suggests it can use an existing Wi-Fi network rather than "direct connect".

How do I configure this?
