Why does azure portal constantly ask me to sign in again? On each new tab I open.

When using the various views in the azure webapp portal, you know, the website that has all the different administrative views for various Azure products (portal.azure.com), every time I want to open a new browser tab it always prompts me to log in again. Is there something I can do to stop this from happening every time? It's pretty annoying. Makes for a slow browsing experience to constantly being interrupted to log in again.

If you're using MS Edge, and you have a profile set with your Microsoft Azure account, then there's a setting under "Profiles / Profile preferences", labelled "Automatically sign in to sites with your current work or school account?". Enabling this solved the same issue for me.

    Hi,

What browser and operating system are you running? Do you have any custom browser extensions or similar that could be modifying the behavior of the browser?

I'm able to open multiple tabs when using Azure portal under Chrome and Edge (and sometimes Firefox) without any repeat sign in prompts.
