Hello Community,

I'm working with a SharePoint Online Modern site that was migrated from a SharePoint 2016 site. I want to hide the left navigation and I've taken the following steps:

  • Site Settings -> Navigation Elements -> Click Off "Enable Quick Launch."
  • Site Settings -> Change the Look -> Site Layout "Oslo"

I've tried using both individually and together and the result is always the same, the Quick Launch still shows on the Site Pages.

Thanks!

Tom

    Hi @Tom Molskow ,

You need to deactivate two features to hide the Quick Launch feature for it to take effect.

    Here are steps:

1.Site Settings -> Manage site features -> Click Deactivate "SharePoint Sever Publishing" feature.

2.Site Settings -> Site collection features -> Click Deactivate "SharePoint Sever Publishing infrastructure" feature.

3.Site Settings -> Navigation Elements -> Click Off "Enable Quick Launch."

The left navigation bar will be hidden:

If I deactivate SharePoint Sever Publishing feature won't that also disable the ability to create and use Site Pages?
