Reclaim memory from Virtual Secure Mode when finished

On Windows 11 after a recent Visual Studio / MAUI session, I have a "Secure System" hanging out & occupying 1.592 GB of RAM (actual not virtual). I'm told this is a new feature called Virtual Secure Mode. That's great but how do I turn it off when finished in order to reclaim that memory?

    Hello there,

Virtual Secure Mode (VSM) has to be enabled in a special policy in the Group Policy Editor (gpedit.msc): Computer Configuration -> Administrative templates -> System -> Device Guard -> Turn on Virtualization Based Security. Enable this policy and select Secure Boot option in Select Platform security level. Also check Enable Credential Guard (LSA isolation) here. If you need to disable it just do the above steps in reverse order

Hope this resolves your Query !!

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction. I believe the dialog shown below is the most straightforward way to turn this feature on or off. Too bad about the reboot requirement but I'll live with it.

    FYI, BGU
