I'm right there with you. I am so frustrated with this program. I'm trying to get through tutorials, but i have hit one road block right after another on features that have either dramatically changed and are no longer found under the same menus or the newly greyed out and disabled 'responsive' option. It's 5/27/2023. I have the newest version of power bi, and there is no new format panel to disable, which was the first solution I saw for this problem. If there is, it's been moved from the options menu and put somewhere else where it can't be found. That wouldn't surprise me in the least. What would Microsoft be doing if they weren't dramatically changing every one of their apps and butchering the apps usability with every update?

What is the solution to this problem, if there is one?

Same issue. Additionally, the "New Slicer" not giving the option of "Dropdown or Vertical List" as in old slicer.
