Hello,

I have a few devices now that experience the same issues during Autopilot enrollment.

It clearly seems to be some kind of setting or policy in our Autopilot setup that is no longer applicable or up to standards.

I have a fairly new organization I'm working for, and I have not added or removed any settings or policies in this environment. While it's also the first time working with Windows Autopilot.

So... my issue shows its ugly face first during the initial out-of-the-box experience.

First time the device boots up I get the error from below. (Borrowed fromhttps://call4cloud.nl/2022/05/the-100-year-old-quick-assist-tool-who-climbed-out-the-window-and-disappeared/)User's image

I could restart the device and log on to Windows, but the device seems to be out of reach and does not recieve any applications or policies.

When trying to Wipe the device, after 20+ minutes of installing i get the error code: 80070002.

Looking through Intune i get these errors on the device:

Which seems to be the same for several of my failing devices.

Best regards

Chris

    @Christian W, Thanks for posting in Q&A.

    For the error code 0x81036502, it means time out when install apps. To find out which app is the affected one, it needs to review logs. To troubleshoot such issue, open case is suggested. Here is a link with the steps to open case:

    https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/mem/get-support

    As another option, you can unassign the apps to these devices to make the Autopilot enrollment complete. Then we can check if the device status can be OK. After the device status is OK. Then we can re-assign the apps to one device one by one to find the affected app and troubleshoot.

    Hope it can help.
