Terminal Server in Azure

Hello,

We are looking to setup our environment completely in Azure (no on-premise environment). My understanding is we can create a VM and set it up to be our Terminal Server with RDS User CALs for multiple users to log in. Do we have to setup Azure AD for the Terminal Server to work or can it function with local users as logins?

you could use Azure Virtual Desktop for the RDS requirement:

You can use either Azure AD or synchronized Active Directory identities.
