Is it possible to create expandable sections in email bodies like you can in Lotus Notes?

Hello, I am trying to create sections in my email that I can hide and expand to show more detail.

The function is very helpful with formatting long emails in lotus notes but I cannot find the function in outlook. Any ideas?

The format is a title, with a small triangle next to it that if you clock on it, it expands to show more detail. Lotus motes also allows a customised bar across the title of the section.

I found your post when searching for a way to do this. As a workaround, I use a table of contents/headings with links to each heading and a back-to-top link under each heading. So nothing collapses, but it helps navigate all the information without scrolling.

    Hi @Christina

From Outlook itself, it does not provide such a function and cannot achieve your requirement.

Based on my search, it seems that this can be achieved through some scripts or VBA, you can refer to this link:

    https://stackoverflow.com/questions/7897040/collapsible-table-in-html-email-outlook-2007-2010

(Note: Since the web site is not hosted by Microsoft, the link may change without notice. Microsoft does not guarantee the accuracy of this information.)

It is also recommended that you publish a tagged post of VBA or Office Document, and our relevant expert forum community members will help you further accordingly.
