Supporting TimescaleDB Toolkit extension on Azure Database for PostgreSQL flexible server

TimescaleDB is supported as an extension, but the affiliated extension "TimescaleDB Toolkit" is not supported/listed.

Why is it not supported, and are there any plans to add support for this extension to Azure Database for PostgreSQL flexible server?

I have checked with the internal team on this and got the reply as below:

TimescaleDB Toolkit is under Timescale License. https://github.com/timescale/timescaledb-toolkit/blob/main/LICENSE

As we can see from here: https://www.timescale.com/blog/building-open-source-business-in-cloud-era-v2/ this license is a "Cloud Protection License". We don't think this will come to azure in near feature.

However, we encourage you to add your feedback in the Feedback channel if you want this feature to be enabled in Azure PostgreSQL here.
