Microsoft Teams Setup error "Installation has failed"

I tried all the steps here and Teams will still not install.

I can provide the Open Set up log if it will be helpful. It was very long.

Could it be because I have Windows 8.1 64 bit?

Please let me know if you have any possible solutions / recommendations.

For context, I have a Windows 8.1 PC. 64 bit. I had an older version of Teams that worked fine, but starting this week, Teams forced me to 'update' it by sending me to the page to download Teams again. I was unable to join a meeting using the app in the normal way because I am not able to download the new Teams version (as per above). Is there a way I can still use the older version I have rather than having to use the browser version in meetings? The browser version is inferior because my video does not work.

Teams supports Windows 8.1 64-bit operating system. Please try downloading and installing the client directly from: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-teams/download-app
