I had a corrupted drive at one point a few weeks ago but when I formatted it, it still was corrupted so naturally I took it out of my pc, have gotten I think about 1 blue screen before the drive died.
a bunch of hardware errors since 1/15/23 (Most Likely since the corrupted hdd incident)
this week I've gotten 2 BSOD's both with the same error "IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL"

I have just installed some driver updates & a nvidia update right after this blue screen

I have Avast anti virus (big mistake) but it is telling me I have broken registry items
windows defender doesn't find anything either

"User hive is loaded by another process (Registry Lock) Process name: C:\Program Files\Avast Software\Avast\aswToolsSvc.exe, PID: 4044, ProfSvc PID: 1588."

"Unable to open the Server service performance object. The first four bytes (DWORD) of the Data section contains the status code."

    Hello

IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL indicates that Windows or a kernel-mode driver accessed paged memory at an invalid address at the raised interrupt request level (IRQL). The cause is usually pointer errors or pageability issues.

You can try the following solutions:

1.Check current system drivers with Driver Verifier:

    https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/driver-verifier-tracking-down-a-mis-behaving/f5cb4faf-556b-4b6d-95b3-c48669e4c983

2.Use the WinDbg tool to obtain a stack trace and view the program process of the call stack:

    https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-hardware/drivers/debugger/bug-check-0xa--irql-not-less-or-equal

    3.Uninstall Avast Antivirus
