Pivot table data connection change

Excel 365 pivot table; We are changing our connections in our Pivot tables from ODBC to SQL Server direct connection. This entails creating another connection using the Get Data>From DataBase>From SQL Server Database which loads the data into a new tab in the spreadsheet. The problem comes when we try and change the Pivot table data source to use the new tab as the Select Table Range option is greyed out. Is there a way round this so we do not have to manually re-specify the Pivot table and its design?

    Hi @Peter Bevis

Currently, I suggest you try to press Alt+D, then press P to launch a 'PivotTable and PivotTable Chart Wizard' to check whether you can select the range.
